Finance Officer

Job Description
The Jenin Governorate and Ministry of Tourism is looking for a part time Finance Officer to be in charge of the financial management of the Spanish Cooperation funded project, according to deadlines and within budget.

Requirements:
-University degree in accounting in finance/ accounting
-At least two (2) years experience in financial project management; strong preference for experience in tourism projects
-Demonstrated experience in project financial monitoring and in budget development and management
-Experience in working with and coordinating with local and international stakeholders
-Good communication and interpersonal skills, including reporting and presentation skills
-Excellent English speaking and writing skills, ability to write clear, concise reports and other documents with a commitment to quality. Fluent (understanding, writing and speaking) in Arabic. Spanish an asset.
-Solid organizational skills: the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment
-Strong computer skills: facility with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email/ internet software
-Jenin governorate residents will be given preference, although applicants ready to relocate for the duration of the project (note that no relocation package will be offered) are also welcomed
