Financial Manager
Osoul is recruiting a Financial Manager for a leading Trading Company, located in Ramallah, Palestine.
Job Description:
A Financial Manager is a key professional responsible for ensuring the financial health of the company. They conduct accurate data analysis and offer advice to senior management on strategies to maximize profits, securing long-term success for the company.
Main duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, providing company with regular financial insights and recommendations.
- Analyze and interpreting financial information to managerial level, and owners.
- Advising on financial activities and provide strategies that the company should take to increase revenue and decrease costs.
- Maintaining the financial health of the company.
- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
- Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.
- Undertaking research into pricing, competitors and factors affecting performance and sales and profits.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
- Manage and involve in the preparation of the company’s budget.
- Providing financial reports and interpreting financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
- Analyze and forecast the cash inflows and cash out flows, to prepare monthly cash budget.
- Manage the preparation of the company’s Master budgets. Such as sales Budget, purchases budget, and expenditure budget.
- Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors.

Qualifications & Skills:
- B.S. in Accounting from reputable university, CMA is a big plus.
- Minimum of five years’ experience as financial manager in trading or manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills, financial planning and analysis background.
- Proven strategically focused leadership capability.
- Excellent ability to problem solves along with solid analytical skills, understanding of the business process, and systems optimization.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively across all levels and functions of the organization.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, flexibility and adaptability.
- Must be goals focused, seek continuous improvement and be highly self-directed.
- Extensive knowledge of Excel and financial tool (specifically, advanced formulas, pivot tables and charts).
- Strong Knowledge of the current Tax Laws and Regulations.
- Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.
- Good spoken and written Arabic, and English language, Hebrew is a Plus.
