About the Role

And, as the song goes, it’s all about the money. Specifically, about us being able to count the money when it comes in from customers (cha-ching), pay out money to our logistics partners (and make sure that Operation Make Money is a smashing success. And who keeps that operation ticking? The Financial Operations team. Sounds boring? Well, it might…but trust us, the amounts we deal with will wake you right up. And Operation Make Money needs its Tom Cruise, Jack Ryan, or Laura Croft, to keep it running smoothly, precisely, and transparently. And that is you. Yes, you. You will function as a dynamic bee, buzzing the financial operations of various platforms, helping them with reporting, statements, credit lines, and payment inquiries, and flying to the top of desolate mountains to rescue them from elaborate schemes to take over the world. Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily AR-related tasks, including payment allocation, invoicing, refunds, collection, and aging.
• Responsible for daily AP-related tasks, including billing, credits, and multi-currency payment remittance to sellers.
• Conduct and prepare routine reconciliation across all financial interfaces for both buyer and seller sides of the business.
• Research and resolve discrepancies with shipment and cost details, share findings, and work with stakeholders to improve data accuracy.
• Prepare accurate and transparent statements and occasional ad-hoc reporting to be delivered externally to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Act as a point of contact for our international buyers and sellers in addressing any inquiries, questions, or concerns related to accounts, billing, wallets, credit, or other financial topics.
• Assist with KYC and onboarding of new buyers and sellers, collect all data and related documents and confirm data accuracy in all systems. 
• Identify bottlenecks in current operational processes and suggest and implement changes to the Freightos SOP. 

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
• Beyond the language of finance, you’ll need fluent English (written and spoken).
• Accuracy, attention to detial. Like, you just noticed the typo in detail. 
• Good time management and stakeholder management skills.
• Solid knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets (It should be your playground). You gotta love V/XLOOKUPs, Pivot tables, and much more.
• Oracle Netsuite Ninja. Yes, we’re looking for you to navigate the lands of this ERP system like a pro.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver results.

Preferred Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of experience in a finance/accounting role.
• Prior work experience in Financial Operations is an advantage.
• Familiarity with different payment platforms and online platforms.
• Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
• Experience in a multilingual and multicultural working environment.
