Food Security and Agriculture Program Officer

The Palestinian Agricultural Relief Committees (PARC) is a leading Palestinian Agricultural Development Organization that was established in 1983. Since its establishment, PARC has been efficiently engaged in Palestinian land development, water resources & environment, poverty reduction and women empowerment, olive oil marketing, as well as other crucial rural development programs. PARC seeks the services of full-time Food Security and Agriculture Program Officer to accomplish the following:

Major Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: -
-Able to realize the development trends, policy intervention and innovations in the program's areas of focus to enhance the effectiveness of program strategy.  
-Helping to plan and implement the different projects activities and supervise the staff in the field.
-Conducting project needs assessments and research.
-Developing proposals in the field of food security/ agriculture and water and environment.
-Developing partnerships with other institutions to extend the impact of the program activities. 
-Monitoring and tracking ongoing projects and initiatives, including evaluating and reporting to program people, partners and donors.
-Working closely with other programs at PARC and facilitating cross-program collaboration.
-Conducting site visits for completed and active projects.
-Reviewing projects activities and providing critical analysis of projects strengths, weaknesses and risks.
-Assisting with all program efforts to enhance the sustainability of PARC.  

Job Requirements:

1-Job Qualifications:
1-BA with five years experience or MA with three years experience in management, project management, development, agriculture or environment engineering, or other related fields.

-Preferably two years with experience in working with NGO's.
