Food Security and Livelihood Field Officers
For 6 months period
The Candidate will:
-Facilitate and support the role of Field Monitors in community mobilization to ensure a better and common understanding of the overall project context
-Supervise, oversee and follow the process of beneficiary application filling
-Cross check beneficiaries before the final selection
-Monitor and support the Field Monitors in conducting household verification visits for beneficiary selection
-Follow up on and facilitate the process of voucher distribution exercises and baseline/endline surveys
-Participates in planning and implementation of the Food Security activities as needed and requested.
-Organize, collect, and review all data related activities compiled by Field Monitors
-Review and confirm the finalized beneficiary list with voucher identification numbers
-Provide the Data Entry Officer with all data related to voucher distribution (beneficiaries/shops) and collect data for reconciliation purposes.
-Participate in the design and implementation of Food Security assessments, surveys or any other project identification or extension studies.
-Prepare a work plan to be submitted to the Program Manager on a weekly basis or when requested.
-Write internal monthly technical reports
Profile of the Candidate:
-Certificate in community development or related field
-Minimum 2 years of practical experience in the related fields with supervision responsibilities
-Strong interpersonal skills and good team player
-Good knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel)
-Report writing, organizational and analytical skills
-Ability and willingness to work independently and in remote areas
-Ability to work under pressure and within strict time limits
-Able to speak and communicate in front of large groups
-Impeccable English (written and spoken) and fluent Arabic
-Valid driving license
