Food Security Project Manager

The candidate will:
1-Coordinate and follow up the implementation of all food security activities (beneficiary selection, project implementation, training, tenders, etc…)
2-Provide technical assistance to the Hebron food security team implementing food security activities
3-Provide technical assistance to beneficiaries and counterparts
4-Participate in the design and implementation of food security assessments, surveys or any other project identification tools
5-Forecast and follow up project expenses
6-Participate in writing of project amendments
7-Participate in information gathering from other NGOs, institutions, ministries, local partners and communities on the food security situation in Hebron
8-Participate in the design and implementation of ACF’s country and Food Security strategy
9-Review and adapt the job descriptions of FS staff members as needed
10-Establish and follow-up weekly planning meetings of the project team

Profile of the Candidate:
1-Advanced university degree in Agronomy or related field
2-Five years of relevant professional experience in food security or agriculture in International organisations or national NGOs
3-Demonstrable experience in project cycle management
4-Experience with ECHO funded projects
5-Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
6-Strong computer skills
7-Good interpersonal, analytical and communications skills
8-Valid driving license
9-Ability to work under pressure
