Action Against Hunger (ACF) is a humanitarian, non-governmental, non-political, non-denominational and non-profit making organisation working in the Palestinian Territory since 2002.

Food Security Project Officer Assistant
For 7 months
The Candidate will:
-Supervise the daily field activities in coordination with the local partners.
-Provide technical information/assistance for activities implementation and support to the project’s team.
-Assist Project Officers and Program Manager by enforcing quality control, facilitating field technical works, identifying and reporting challenges.
-Ensure field work complies with project working plan and timeframe.
-Checks daily the attendance of beneficiaries (workers) and reports to Project Officers on a daily basis.
-Checks daily the quality of the material procured by private partners.
-Follows the delivery chain and spot checks the sources of material delivered.
-Daily reporting of field activities to the project officers and the program manager (material delivered, work achieved, beneficiaries’ attendance, obstacles and constraints).
-Perform additional tasks as requested, due to the nature of the project and its timeframe.
Profile of the Candidate:
-University degree in business administration, social science or any other related field.
-At least two years of work experience in a relevant field.
-Professional level in both Arabic & English language skills.
-Report writing skills in English and Arabic
-Proficiency in MS Office.
-Independent determined and motivated.
-Experience in the field of food security and livelihood
-Excellent skills of communication, time management and conflict resolution
-Excellent ability to work under pressure
-Ability to work under pressure and within a team.
-Ability to start working immediately
-Valid driving license
-Good interpersonal, analytical and communications skills
