The Candidate will:
-Develop the food security and livelihood strategy for the area of reference following ACF mandate and mission strategy in cooperation with the Office Manager and the Food Security and Livelihood Coordinator.
-Take the lead in Food Security and Livelihoods context analysis and promote the interchange of this information and analysis between the bases and the capital.
-Lead the design and implementation of Food Security and Livelihood assessments, surveys or any other project identification studies in collaboration and coordination with the other departments.
-Supervise and coordinate the implementation of the Food Security and Livelihood project activities according to proposals and work-plan.
-Set up and ensure an appropriate monitoring system is carried out and is appropriate according to the objectives and indicators in the log frame of each project.
-Complete intermediate and final donor reports for the food Security and livelihood technical domain.
-Propose relevant research studies in the field of Food Security and Livelihood where information gaps are identified and when relevant to the ACF strategy.
-Supervise food security and livelihood staff related to projects under the supervision of the Program Manager including staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.

Profile of the Candidate:
-Advanced university degree in sociology, economics, anthropology, geography, agriculture or related studies.
-Five years of relevant professional experience in food security and livelihood programming in international organisations or national NGOs.
-Demonstrable experience in project cycle management.
-Familiarity with donors and donor procedures.
-Fluency in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
-Strong computer skills.
-Good interpersonal, analytical and communications skills.
-Valid driving license.
-Ability to work with team and under pressure.
