Fullstack - Front-end Developer

The candidate will work in an Agile development environment and develop software solutions for TRANSCEND publishing and higher education platforms/products, as well as their peripheral services. Also, the candidate will participate in discovery and design for new features and functions, and work with the team of developers towards the implementation of solutions that bring customer value improving the products and user experience continuously and iteratively. 1. Strong experience in object-oriented and scripting programming languages, such as JavaScript, Python, and in front-end web technologies, such as TypeScript, Angular, AngularJS, HTML, JSON, XML, SOAP, CSS, Bootstrap, and jQuery.
   
   
2.  Experience using modern build and deployment tools such as Jenkins, Docker, etc. Experience in software build/release, continuous integration, and continuous deployment, as well in software automation techniques and tools.
3.  Experience with DevOps tools and Version Control including experience with Atlassian tools, Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, Git, Subversion. 
4.  Hands-on database related experience with SQL Server, AWS Aurora, MySQL, and/or ElastiCache (Redis). Knowledge of non-SQL databases will be a plus. 
5.  Knowledge of AWS cloud computing platform and AWS services such as ECS, EC2, ECR, Fargate, CodeDeploy, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, CloudWatch, and Parameter Store.
6.  Experience with unit testing with Karma as well as automated testing with Test Sigma.
