Role and Responsibility

The Fundraising Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies to support IIH’s mission. This role involves building relationships with donors and developing grant proposals. The position is part-time, requiring 20 hours per week.

  • Develop and execute fundraising plans and strategies.
  • Identify and approach potential donors and sponsors.
  • Write and submit grant proposals and reports to donors.
  • Maintain a donor database and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Work with the communication team to create fundraising materials.
  • Monitor fundraising progress and provide regular reports to the Executive Director.
  • Collaborate with other team members to align fundraising efforts with organizational goals.
  • Undertaking any other work-related duties assigned by the line manager (Programs Director).

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Non-Profit Management, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in fundraising, grant writing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successful fundraising and donor relations.
  • Strong writing and communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
