Looking for a great way to develop a career in the NGO sector? Then help our Programme Team plan, raise and manage funds from institutional donors. Youll be supporting crucial initiatives while discovering how we work, and how you can progress into a field-based programme role.
About the role
The funds we raise from our donors make a huge difference to people throughout Gaza. In this role you will be part of a dynamic programme team, pulling together reports and proposal submissions and making sure that systems and processes are in place so that we are accountable for the funds we receive. There will be deadlines to meet and staff and partners to train on report writing and compliance issues. But no matter how busy or pressured it gets, you will be unfailingly accurate and well organised.
About you
Although familiarity with donors and humanitarian programming is a plus, what is vital is that you can work both independently and as part of a team, and that you have plenty of initiative, enthusiasm and common sense. As you will be co-ordinating and writing reports, good research and communication skills are important too, particularly impeccable writing skills in English. And, of course, you will be flexible enough to juggle priorities and analytical enough to pinpoint key information. Just as importantly, you will need to have good understanding of donor requirements, and good research and analytical skills
