Position Title: Grants Officer: Partnerships for Youth Program

Position Description:
FHI 360 is seeking qualified Grants Officer for an anticipated USAID- Funded program focusing on providing youth leadership in the West Bank through Partnerships for youth program. The Grants Officer ensures the contractual compliance of the program’s various sub-agreements with partner organizations with USAID and FHI 360 policies and regulations. This includes oversight to ensure that outstanding balances and reports from partners are verified against contractual documentation, as well as oversight of the procurement processes of the project. The Grants Officer will also support the administrative and human resource management systems and procedures of the project as guided by FHI 360 policies and the will help establish the project’s Grants Management and Operational Manual. The Grants Officer should have in-depth technical, financial, and other administrative knowledge related to sub-grants and demonstrated experience managing several agreements at the same time.
Minimum Requirements:
-Master's degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Legal Affairs or a relevant field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Proven record of excellent management, leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills;
-At least 5 years of experience designing, managing, and implementing complex sub-agreements;
-Experience managing sub-grants under a USAID project highly desirable and familiarity with USAID programming, rules and regulations required;
-Fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
-Experience in the West Bank/Gaza or other Arabic-speaking countries highly preferred
-Ability to travel within the West Bank and possibly Gaza; possible regional travel.
