Head of Financial and Control Reporting Section

Bank of Palestine is seeking to recruit a qualified candidate for the position of “Head of Financial and Control Reporting Section”

Location: Ramallah

Responsibilities:

• Preparing financial regulatory reports in accordance with the requirements of the Palestine Monetary Authority on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual basis.
• Review the financial and statutory reports issued to the Palestine Monetary Authority and commit to submitting them on time (such as the call report, monthly report, quarterly report, etc.).
• Review the report issued to the Palestinian Deposit Insurance Corporation and calculate the subscription value on a monthly basis.
• Review and follow up on liquidity reports, Liquidity coverage ratio and net stable financing ratio.
• Preparing the bank’s periodic financial statements (quarterly, interim, and final), at both the separate and consolidated levels.
• Preparing the financial and non-financial requirements (quarterly, semi-annual, and annual) for the external auditor, following up with him, facilitating his tasks, coordinating with other departments, and conducting the inspection tour.
• Communicating with the financial departments of the group companies and ensuring obtaining the required financial data for the purposes of preparing the consolidated financial statements.
• Preparing financial covenants reports.
• Preparing the bank’s periodic financial disclosure related to the requirements of the Capital Market Authority and the Palestine Stock Exchange Monitor the reconciliation of financial intermediary accounts.

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Financial, and Banking sciences, or other related specializations. 
• At least eight (8) years’ experience in financial and banking.
• One of these certifications (CPA, ACCA, CMA, CFP) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and drafting skills for effective reporting in financial performance and indicators.
• Ability to operate in a cross-cultural environment requiring flexibility.
• Familiarity with related donors and governmental requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving ability, strong analytical skills, financial planning, and analysis background.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, flexibility, and adaptability.
• Extensive knowledge of Excel and financial tools (specifically, advanced formulas, pivot tables, and charts).
• Good spoken and written Arabic, and English languages.
