Health Promoter

Médecins du Monde (MDM) France is an International Medical Organization, which has been present in the Palestinian Territories since 1995. It operates in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank through offices located in Jerusalem, Gaza and Nablus.
 

MDM is currently looking for qualified candidates to fill the position of :
 

Health Promoter, Gaza Base (1 Position)

Starting Date: ASAP.

Duration:  Part Time (75%) Contract , 4 months (with possibility to beextended)
 
I-MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
To Conduct Health promotion session in cooperation with a Palestinian NGO
To collect qualitative data on family planning  during health promotion session with Palestinian NGOs
Report and follow up of health promotion activities.

                                                                           
II-RequirmentS:

University degree in medical sciences (midwife, nurse...) with at least 3 years of work experience with NGOs.
At least 2 years experience in health promotion & awareness.
Capacity to organize & conduct health promotion sessions.
Good knowledge of family planning topics.
Good knowledge of quantitative & qualitative data collection, entry, analysis & reporting.
Good communication skills.
Good command of English and Arabic languages (both written and spoken).
Computer skills (word, excel, PowerPoint, statistics software…).
