Health promotion supervisor

MSF is working in more than 70 countries all around the world.

MSF-Spain is currently seeking to recruit:

 HEALTH PROMOTION SUPERVISOR for its Mental Health and Psycho-social Project in Hebron. The position will start immediately

Description of the position:

-    Develop, monitor, evaluate and update Mental Health Promotion strategies and action plans in relation to mental health. Identify indicators in order to monitor this activity, its results, and achievements.
-    Identify and report constraints and difficulties and/or strong points of the HP activities and strategy in order to reinforce the link between the communities (emphasis on the target population) and the project
-    Plan information campaigns, including targets, objectives, methods and goals in order to increase awareness among the targeted population.
-    Regularly visit the communities, its various stakeholders (formal/informal leaders, traditional healers, natural groups and others) that fall under the scope of the MSF project.
-    Organize, train, and supervise the Psycho social workers under community mental health intervention activity; plan and organize their work, support, coach and give input to mental health activities manager of their performance on this activity.
-    Plan and monitor the implementation of communication activities in the field


Requirements:

-   Education: Essential diploma in social sciences or education/pedagogy / or social work
-    Experience: Essential working experience in MSF or other NGOs (minimum one year) in Mental Health promotion activities in Mental Health promotion activities
-  Languages: English and Arabic essential (oral and written).
-   Knowledge: Essential computer literacy (Word)
