Position Title: Health Worker for Workshops on SRHR, GBV, and Cyberbullying

Background:
PWWSD is implementing the project “Building Resilience: Empowering Women and Girls in Conflict-Affected Areas,” funded by FCDO-UK Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office, in collaboration with Save the Children (SCI). The project aims to address key issues such as sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), gender-based violence (GBV), and cyberbullying among adolescents in conflict-affected areas. Through these workshops, the project will raise awareness and equip adolescents with the knowledge and skills to navigate these challenges.
Objective:
The health worker will deliver gender-segregated workshops to adolescent girls and boys in six targeted governorates. The workshops will focus on topics of interest identified through the humanitarian gender analysis, including SRHR, GBV, and cyberbullying. A total of 36 workshops will be conducted, with six workshops in each governorate, targeting 540 adolescent participants.

Key Responsibilities:
- Workshop Preparation and Delivery:
- Develop and tailor workshop content based on topics identified through humanitarian gender analysis, including:
- Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR).
- Gender-Based Violence (GBV).
- Cyberbullying.
- Ensure that workshops are gender-segregated as appropriate for cultural sensitivity.
- Conduct six workshops in each of the six targeted governorates, totaling 36 workshops.
- Engage adolescents through interactive, participatory methods to ensure active learning and discussion.
- Participant Engagement and Monitoring:
- Facilitate the participation of adolescent girls and boys, ensuring that the total target of 540 participants is met.
- Create a safe and supportive environment for discussion, where participants feel comfortable sharing experiences and asking questions.
- Monitor participant engagement and understanding throughout the workshops.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Collect attendance records for each workshop and ensure accurate documentation of participant numbers.
- Provide feedback and evaluations after each workshop to assess its impact on participants.
- Report on the outcomes of the workshops to the Project Manager, including any recommendations for future improvements.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders:
- Work closely with PWWSD and Save the Children (SCI) to align the workshop content with project goals and humanitarian standards.
- Collaborate with other team members and community leaders to ensure effective workshop implementation in each location.
Qualifications:
- Degree in public health, social work, education, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in conducting awareness-raising workshops on SRHR, GBV, or similar topics for adolescents.
- Strong understanding of adolescent health, protection issues, and gender-sensitive approaches.
- Experience working with conflict-affected populations is an asset.
- Fluency in Arabic and excellent communication and facilitation skills.
Deliverables:
- Development of workshop content on SRHR, GBV, and cyberbullying, tailored to the needs of adolescents in conflict-affected areas.
- Delivery of 36 workshops across six governorates, reaching 540 adolescent participants.
- Submission of workshop reports, including attendance sheets, participant feedback, and key observations.
