Salary: ₪2,750 - ₪4,125 / month
**This role requires daily field work in Nablus. Holding a medical degree (e.g., nursing, medicine, etc.) and a valid medical licence is essential for this role.
Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is a leading UK charity dedicated to improving the health and dignity of Palestinians affected by conflict, occupation, and displacement. With a focus on the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, we provide vital health and medical care to those in need, particularly in crisis zones like Gaza. As part of our commitment to meeting the growing needs of the communities we serve, we're expanding our team.
MAP is seeking a Health Worker who will be responsible for delivering health education and promoting community engagement at mobile clinic locations, focusing on common health issues and assessing local health education needs. They conduct educational sessions on various health topics, while collaborating with local organizations to strengthen outreach efforts. The Health Worker also supports patient care by distributing prescribed medications, educating patients on treatment adherence, and coordinating referrals for additional support. They work closely with stakeholders and contribute to mobile clinic reports, ensuring accurate documentation and data collection.

The ideal candidate holds a medical degree (e.g., nursing, medicine) and has experience in health education, community health initiatives, and working with vulnerable populations. Experience in mobile clinics or humanitarian response is a plus. The candidate has strong data collection, reporting, and communication skills in Arabic and English. Additionally, the ideal candidate can effectively manage medication distribution, educate patients on proper usage, and engage communities in health education. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word, is essential.
