Hospital Engineer

Caritas Baby Hospital is seeking a:

The successful candidate will:
1-Ensure the Operation and Maintenance of all engineering systems at the hospital including biomedical systems, general institutional technical systems, telecommunication systems, IT system.
2-Oversee and manage the compliance of standards in respect of the building facilities, building engineering operation and maintenance services.
3-Manage, coordinate and actively engage in the activities of the maintenance team and various service providers including outside consultants and contractors.
4-Oversee and manage external services contracts.
5-Control and manage the financial budgets of the facility maintenance and repairs.
6-Provide professional and technical engineering support to the technical department on the planning, co-ordination and management of new/improvement projects.
7-Oversee and supervise the manpower resources for in-house operation and maintenance of building facilities and engineering services for the hospital as well as provide first level and emergency on-call attendances.
8-Formulate and review the Standard Operational Procedures and service standards of the technical department.
9-Analyze and report on energy/utility consumptions recommend and implement energy/utility conservation projects and initiatives.
10-Have hands on experience and knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and plant such as , single and
3 phase power and lighting, fire alarms, emergency lighting, generator tests, Air handling units, fan coil units, pumps, motors, hot and cold water systems, heating systems, air conditioning systems, water treatment, pipe work, valves, drainage and general building repairs.
11-Perform troubleshooting of the hospital computer information systems network and IT hardware and provide first level IT support to network users.
12-Provide periodic reports to the head of technical services.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related field.
-Experience in HVAC systems.
-Strong IT and networking skills along with MSCSE, MSCNE certificates
-Relevant experience.
-Fluency in oral and written English.
-Strong reporting skills in English language.
-Ability to communicate information effectively.
-Commitment to providing quality results and services.
-Self motivated - clear and deep thinker.

-Subordinate to Head of Technical Services.
