Hotel Accountant

Al Quds Hospitality One (QHO), a registered company located in Jerusalem and owned by Al Quds Holding Company and Sharakat Company, has signed a management agreement with Accor, a leading international hotel operator, to operate ibis styles Jerusalem Sheikh Jarrah hotel. The hotel started its operations since 1/12/2014. QHO is seeking to fill a position of (Hotel Accountant) on full time basis in ibis styles Jerusalem Sheikh Jarrah hotel.

Key Responsibilities
The Hotel Accountant is responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures. As well as, project a professional company image through communication with Banks and external auditors

Overview of Duties and Responsibilities
-Compiling and analyzing financial information to prepare financial reports and financial statements including monthly and annual accounts.
-Resolving accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
-Preparing and reviewing budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents.
-Explaining billing invoices and accounting policies to staff, vendors and clients.
-Developing and maintaining financial data bases, computer software systems and manual filing systems including the use of the existing accounting software.

Qualifications and Skills
-Minimum 5 years of significant experience in hotel accounting.
-Computer Skills.
-Excellent written, typing and spoken communication skills (Arabic, English, Hebrew)
-Well Organized.
-Holder of Jerusalem ID.
-A valid driving license.
