HR Assistant
MEFCO LTD is a recently founded company based in Jerusalem and the Franchisee of KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) in Israel. The company was established in 2019 with the purpose of opening more than 30 KFC restaurants in Israel focusing on the mixed and Aarab majority cities.
The company is seeking an ambitious & qualified professional for the position of Internal Accountant with the potential of career advancement.
The HR Assistant will support the daily operations of the HR Department and make sure HR initiatives and other projects are well implemented and followed up.
The position's main duties are:
HR Administration
- Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources department
- Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
- Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) and take minutes
- Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc)
- Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures
- Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews
- Support all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
- Maintain calendars of HR management team.
- Oversee the completion of compensation and benefit documentation.
- Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.
Recruitment & Training
- Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, performing reference checks and issuing employment contracts.
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)
- Coordinate training sessions and seminars.
- Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.
- Assist in the design, implementation & follow-up on training programs for restaurant and above restaurant structures
Onboarding & Offboarding
- Ensure proper onboarding procedures are implemented and documented for all new staff
- Maintain digital and electronic records of employees.
- Complete termination paperwork and exit interviews.
- Oversee the completion of compensation and benefit documentation.
Other Duties
- Assist with performance management procedures.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practice
- Assist in completing the monthly & yearly HR reports
- Assist HR & Operations in any other reasonable tasks requested

- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field with minimum
- 1 year experience in HR administration
- Excellent working knowledge of Hebrew and English
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, basic software, email)
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Very good reporting skills
- Jerusalem ID holder
- Valid driving license
