Job Title: Human Resources Manager
Location: Ramallah
Closing Date: 20 /10/2011
The Welfare Association (WA), a leading agency supporting Palestinian development and
relief efforts, is seeking a hardworking, innovative, and self-motivated individual to meet the
challenging nature associated with the position of Human Resource Manager.
Responsibilities & Duties.
In accordance with established WA policies & regulations:
The HR manager should be able to demonstrate ability to asses, design and evaluate HR policies
and procedures.
The HR Manager is expected to implement the objectives of the Human Resources function and
develop an effective technique for setting goals and linking them to the overall objectives of the
organization. Ensure effective implementation of WA established objectives. As well as Manage all
aspects related to the Human Resources function including the recruitment, training, performance
evaluation and management, career plans, succession plans, manpower plans …etc.
Managerial and Professional Qualifications:
-B.A. in Business Administration or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
-Minimum 8 years of experience in Human Resources. At least three in a managerial or supervisory position.
-Professional knowledge in Human Resources different elements and systems.
-Background in implementing and automating HR systems.
-Fluent in English and Arabic languages; Read, spoken and written.
-High level of Communication skills
-High level of Interpersonal skills
-Decision Making skills
-Strategic thinking ability
-Leadership skills
-High level of Initiative and creativity
-Planning, organizing and coordination skills
-Time and self management
-Self motivated
-Problem solving skills
