Here at Human Appeal we have an exciting opportunity for HR Operations Administrator, to be based at our Gaza office Palestine.

CONDITION:

  • It is a local Contract, for this role you must have the right to work in
  • This role is fixed-term with a possibility of extension depending on organizational needs and the office expansion

Main Purpose:

The HR Operations Administrator will Assist HR Department Lead in various fundamental HR activities and tasks in the field office level. Support includes but not limited to the recruitment, personnel files management, induction process, employee relations cases, and other daily HR operation tasks to ensure proper support is provided to implement HR projects during emergencies.

Accountabilities:

  • Assist the HR dept. Lead during emergencies to ensure seamless HR operations, and successful implementation of HR projects.
  • Make sure all staff adherence to internal policies and procedures in the field office in consultation with the HR Lead.
  • Responsible for attendance management of staff at field level and following up staff records, annual leaves requests in the internal system.
  • Facilitate the recruitment function, assist HR dept. Lead in recruitment process stages by screening applicants, longlisting, liaise with candidates by sending interview invitations, confirming schedule, while ensuring that all documentation of the recruitment cycle is in place.
  • Support in onboarding processes to ensure new staff are effectively integrated into the organization’s culture and operation.
  • Update HR personnel files as per personnel file checklist and other HR related documents including volunteer’s and worker’s folders, time sheets, and meeting minutes while ensuring confidentiality at all stages.
  • Support in collecting attendance sheets from workers and volunteers and calculating their monthly fees.
  • Assist the HR dept. Lead in staff wellbeing initiatives by preparing and submitting regular staff wellbeing reports and addressing staff concerns.
  • Provide support to staff during emergencies, including relocation, evacuations, and emergency communications.
  • Perform other duties and provide support, as necessary and/or as requested by the line manager.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in HR roles, preferably within the humanitarian or INGO sector

 Experience working in crisis or emergency settings, with a demonstrated ability to manage HR functions in volatile environments.

Computer Skills:

Computer literate and proficient in MS Office Suite

Languages:

Fluency in English and Arabic a must, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
