JOB OPPORTUNITY WORLD VISION
World Vision is an international Christian humanitarian aid agency working with the most
marginalized and poor communities of the world.
World Vision Jerusalem-West Bank-Gaza is seeking a:
Manage the Human Resources and Administration functions of World Vision JWG
Contribute to the leadership WV JWG as a member of the senior management team
Lead the development and implementation of an HR strategy for WV JWG Participate in setting organizational direction and advising on Human Resources matters
Ensure effective management of the HR and Administration departments and staff
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology or Business Administration
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Human Resources, including recruitment, performance
management and training and development. At least 1 year in a supervisory role. Additional
experience in Office Management/Administration is highly preferred
• Advanced English language skills (written and spoken), knowledge of Business English a must
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-culturally and under pressure
• Strong Christian commitment, maturity, sensitivity and discernment of people
• Consistent Achiever – ensures high level of quality and customer service
• Accountable Steward – leads with transparency and stays accountable
• Compelling Communicator – ensures verbal and written communication is clear and convincing
• Strategic Thinker – identifies critical issues and leads effective long and short-term planning
• Influential Advocate – seeks clarity on others’ points of view and takes a persuasive stand on difficult issues
• Change Catalyst – invests in continuous improvements to work and quality
• Performance Coach – seeks personal mastery in critical skills and coaches staff to high levels of performance
• Self Manager – understands personal strengths and weaknesses and seeks coaching for growth and development. Negotiates family and work commitments assertively to achieve sustainable work/ life balance
• Team/Alliance Builder – inspires open and trusting relationships and deals with conflict to bring cooperation
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Valid driver’s license for travel between Jerusalem and the West Bank
• Integrity and strong identification with World Vision core values, ethos, vision and mission
• Position is based in Jerusalem
