Human Resources Assistant/Office Manager – Jerusalem Office

Tiri-Making Integrity Work (Tiri) is an international non-governmental organisation which aims to promote integrity and good governance in private and public sectors worldwide.

Tiri seeks a dynamic and reliable Office Manager with experience in Human Resources management, to be based in Jerusalem. The HR Assistant/Office Manager will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will work in close consultation with other relevant Tiri staff.

Main tasks and responsibilities

The successful candidate shall perform a variety of tasks including, but not limited to:

- Provide overall office management support to ensure smooth running of Tiri’s Jerusalem office including routine correspondence, letters, faxes, memos and e-mails, general office filing, support to internal procurement processes,  office maintenance, tracking office expenditures and budget management etc.
- Assist with the day-to-day administration of Tiri’s human resources for all its offices globally (Jerusalem, London, Indonesia and Nairobi), including recruiting and staffing, maintaining employee files and HR filing system, orientation to new staff, recordkeeping, etc. Support staff training, assist in the preparation of meetings and conferences including staff retreats. Serve as focal point for residency and visa-related issues in Israel; Arrange for travel-related logistics in Israel and West Bank for staff and visitors; Ad-hoc translation required.

Qualifications/Skills required

- At least 5 years of experience in an administrative position
- Knowledge of principles, practices and procedures of Human Resources. Knowledge of employment law in Israel and Palestine - an asset
- Fluency in written and spoken English (essential); Advanced  written and spoken Hebrew (essential); good Arabic skills (desirable)
- Excellent networking and coordination skills, ability to work in a team
- Advanced computer literacy and database management skills
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
- Ability to maintain  a high level of confidentiality
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines
