Job Title:Human Resources Manager
Location:Ramallah Office
Duration:Regular Term
Save the Children, as a non-profit U.S based development organization, has been working in the West Bank and Gaza since 1973. Save the Children (SC) concentrates on enhancing health, educational, psychosocial, food security, and economic opportunities in order to achieve its mission to create lasting, positive change in the lives of children.
The Human Resources Manager is a senior level position that manages human resources services and functions, policies and procedures, as well as personnel recruitment, compensation and benefit packages. Responsibilities include to monitor and ensure the smooth running of the overall human resources functions and procedures for the Country Office. The Human Resources Manager must work closely with the Ramallah Finance Manager and the sub-offices Operations Managers to ensure that personnel functions are implemented effectively at that level. The position is based in the Ramallah office, and requires frequent visits to the Jerusalem, Halhoul, and Gaza offices with additional travel and over-time work as required.
Personnel Requirements
-A Masters degree in Human Resources Management or a related subject.
-Minimum of 5 years experience in the field of international development and/or non-profit management
-Minimum of five years experience in human resources management
-Familiarity with local labor laws and different international donors policies and regulations
-Proven leadership, representational, interpersonal, and supervisory skills;
-Strong English and Arabic spoken and written communication skills; and ability to generate reports and other written documents
-Experience working with international and local partners; experience in a large complex organization
-Demonstrated excellent team-work and team-building skills
-Computer skills
-A valid driving license
-Ability to travel in the West Bank and Gaza, and internationally
