Humanitarian Program Coordinator
The Palestine Children's Relief Fund is a nonprofit, nonpolitical, nonreligious humanitarian relief organization, established in 1992 to arrange medical care for sick and injured Palestinian children who could not be treated in their homeland. Since our founding, we have expanded and grown into one of the main relief organizations in the Middle East, helping thousands of children each year get the care and support they need to live better lives.
PCRF is currently looking to recruit a highly motivated professional to fill the following position:

Responsibilities
-
Planning and projects development
-
The point of contact with all Area Coordinators as well as social and field workers for initiating new projects.

Develop concept papers for any new projects.

After approving new projects, develop detailed project documentation including project objectives, deliveries, budgets, and action plans.

Program Management
-
Overall responsibility for effective and efficient management and delivery of PCRF Humanitarians programs through annual planning, budgeting, reporting, and day-to-day project operations consistent with project cycle management and the project’s objectives with highest standards of programmatic quality,

Ensure monitoring systems and tools are developed and used to track project progress and capture learning processes for project evaluation.

Share lessons learned with PCRF management, partners, and other key stakeholders

Provide regular reporting to the PCRF management, including the preparation and consolidation of project monthly, quarterly and annual reports.

Monitor projects' activities and carry out adjustments to project plans and management on an on-going basis in light of changing context, resources, and opportunities.

Monitor project expenditure against budget, and preparation and submission of required project progress and financial reports on a regular basis.

Develop and implement an action plan for each project to ensure effective project implementation.

Promotion of the organization’s positive image through collaboration and networking

Maintain strong relationships with local and international partners.

Logistics and Finance Management
-
Work with the relevant staff in the finance department to ensure efficient management of financial resources
-
Work with the relevant staff in the procurement department on project inputs per the procurement procedures.

Ensure that project implementation meets donor compliance requirements.

Work with the relevant staff in the finance department to prepare monthly budget variance reports.

Minimum Requirements
-
A Bachelor's degree in management, humanitarian work, or a relevant field of expertise. PMP Certificate is a plus.

A minimum of 8 years of experience working in project management, operations, or a similar field.

Fluent in English and Arabic.

Fluency in using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and new systems
-
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems
