Infection Prevention & control (IPC) Officer

Médecins du Monde (MDM) France is an International Medical Organization, which has been present in the Palestinian Territories since 1995. It operates in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank through offices located in Jerusalem, Gaza and Nablus.
 

MDM is currently looking for qualified candidates to fill the position of :
 

Infection Prevention & control (IPC) Officer, Gaza Base (1 Position)

 

Starting Date: ASAP.

Duration:  Part Time (75%) Contract , 4 months (with possibility to beextended)
 
I-MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
 
-Help on strengthen the capacities of a Palestinian NGOs by implementing Infection Prevention & Control practices and guidelines in two women health centers.
-Report and follow up of Infection prevention and control activities.

II-RequirmentS:

-University degree in medical sciences & public health with at least 3 years of work experience with NGOs.
-Good experience in infection prevention & control.
-Capacity to organise & conduct training.
-Good supervision & reporting skills.
-Good communication skills.
-Good command of English and Arabic languages (both written and spoken).
-Computer skills (word, excel, PowerPoint, statistics software…).
