Duties:

The Computer Management Assistant manages the unclassified information technology networks and client devices mostly based on a Microsoft and Apple environment; maintain hardware, software, and IT infrastructure; administer user accounts and access to services; provide customer support in accordance with regulations; apply network engineering principles; liaise with internal and external service providers; manage IT property; and lead IT project portfolios aligned with State Department foreign policy goals fulfilling U.S. government regulations, management goals, and network security requirements. This position reports directly to the Computer Management Supervisor and indirectly to the Assistant Information Systems Officer and Information Systems Officer.

Job Requirements

Experience:

Four years progressive experience in a position related to Information Technology or Computer Science is required. Knowledge of both Microsoft and Apple systems is required. 

Education Requirements:

Completion of bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Management or System Engineering is required

Languages:

Level fluency speaking/reading/writing in English and level fluency speaking/reading/writing in Hebrew or Arabic is required. (This may be tested).
