ACTED is an independent international, private, non-partisan and non-profit organization that operates according to principles of strict neutrality, political and religious impartiality, and non discrimination.
ACTED was created in 1993 to support populations affected by the conflict in Afghanistan. Based in Paris, France, ACTED is present in four continents and our teams intervene in 34 countries towards 8 million people, responding to emergency situations, supporting rehabilitation projects and accompanying the dynamics of development. In association with several French, European and International partners, ACTED is committed to promoting and developing innovative approaches and initiatives, humanitarian principles, new forms of solidarity and convergences between private and public actors and NGOs from the North and the South covering themes such as aid efficiency and transparency, evaluation, information and coordination of humanitarian emergencies, promotion of local governance and civil society strengthening, sustainable access to income and microfinance, prevention and reduction of catastrophes, the link between development aid, sustainable development and social business, food security, etc.

ACTED strives to strengthen the economic capacities of cooperatives in rural areas, consolidate civil society organisations, and provide emergency assistance to the most vulnerable, rural communities in the West Bank. ACTED currently seeks Information Management Officer
III. Position Profile
Under the supervision of the Project Development Officer`, the Information Management Officer will be responsible for supporting the Reporting and AME department with data entry, management of project databases , and preparation of regular graphical reports (including with Adobe Illustrator).
Database management
-Continuous entry of project data into database in Microsoft Excel (internal and external)
-Prepare graphical reports on a weekly and monthly basis
-Resolve potential problems relating to the database and propose improvements
Reporting
-Provide accurate and timely reports to the Reporting department and the Appraisal, Monitoring & Evaluation department
-Support the design of data collection tools (forms, questionnaires, etc.) and processes (assessment, monitoring, evaluation), and related data analysis plans
-Support the collection and analysis of data, and monitor trends in the ACTED activities
Other
-Create GIS data map for all ACTED interventions
-Act as technical focal point in all relevant initiatives in the field of Information Management
-Support the Logistics department on an exceptional basis to resolve IT issues in the office.
-Comply fully with ACTED standards and principles
-Support the development of communication (internal and external) products
IV-Qualifications:
-Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or, Business
-Advanced IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office
-Advanced knowledge and experience with statistical software SPSS, Graphic Design software Adobe Illustrator, GIS and ODK.
-revious work experience with NGO in a similar position or in monitoring & evaluation will be positively evaluated
-Fluent in Arabic and English, spoken and written, including correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
-Ability to produce accurate reports under pressure
-Capable in planning and problem solving.
