Institutional partnership manager
SOS CHILDREN‘S VILLAGES-PALESTINE
The Challenge
-Identify institutional partnership opportunities at local level (embassies, governmental institutions..)
-Develop and implement an institutional partnership strategy in line with the needs of SOS Children’s Villages Palestine
-Develop and maintain good relationships with institutional donors through ensuring regular
communication, knowledge exchange and effective reporting.
-Answer to call for proposals from national and international donors (European Union, Cooperation agencies…)
-Prepare and submit project proposals to annual program donors existing in Palestine
(governmental institutions, embassies, foundations…)
-Provide technical and coordination support to individual implementation processes according to needs.
-Coordinate, monitor and assess the quality of institutional donor reporting making sure that donor requirements are met also during the project implementation phase
-Train and support relevant staff in Project Cycle Management and Logical Framework Approach (LFA)
Your profile
-Master’s Degree in International Development, Marketing or any other relevant field
-A proven track record of at least 3 to 5 years in either project management or fundraising in the
development field or the NGO sector
-Self-motivated, determined and innovative and with a « can do » mentality, able to identify and
take advantage of fundraising opportunities
-A strong result-orientation combined with a proven competence in strategic planning, budgeting,
analysis and evaluation
-Able to set clear work programs and schedules and work independently towards achieving agreed targets
-Good at relationship building at different levels of the organization and externally
-Able to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
-Knowledge of the local, national and international donor market, and understanding of donor’s
motivation in giving
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English ; Arabic is a great asset
-Knowledge of the logical framework, result based management approach and the project cycle
management, a great asset
-Good ICT knowledge (Word, Excel, Internet research)
