PalTrade was established in 1998, as a non-profit trade development organization, that was mandated as the Palestinian National Trade Promotion Organization.  Currently, PalTrade is a membership based organization, that has evolved into an export development organization that is essential in leading the way for the implementation of a National Export Strategy for Palestine.  PalTrade provides a wide range of export support in the areas of export  development and market intelligence, export promotion , and export policy  and advocacy.  PalTrade leads the way in identifying existing and new international markets with the intention to increase Palestinian exports, and in return creating a growing and sustainable Palestinian economy.

Role Summary

The general purpose of the company categorizations intern is to classify companies in categories and classify exporters based on provided criteria. This information will be used to  build a database of exporters and create a framework for financial and economic analysis .

Job Settings

Location: Ramallah with extended services to Gaza

Settings: Office


Responsibilities
Determine the necessary information for each group of companies.
Data entry; enter the companies information to PalTrade System.
Search forall data and monitor exports for each company for the last 3 years

Classify companies based  on PalTarde’s exporters .

Job Specifications

Experience
Fresh Graduated

Education
University degree (B.A.) statistics or in Mathematics

Key Competencies
Knowledge of local business and industry, Strong analytical and communication skills.
Detail-oriented
Strong Excel skill
Strong Word skill ( typing skills)
English and Arabic proficiency
