International Outreach Officer 
 
About AlNayzak/Horizons Academy:
AlNayzak Organization is a Palestinian non-profit, non- partisan, and unique organization that looks for young talents in science, technology, entrepreneurship, engineering, and math (STEEM), and plants an ambitious vision in the hearts of our community: “An Innovative Palestinian society, capable of producing original scientific knowledge, integrated with sustainable development”.
Horizons Academy is a Palestinian initiative supporting young gifted high school students by equipping them with the necessary knowledge and tools to succeed in obtaining a scholarship and competing for admission to top worldwide universities. 
 
Position Definition:
Responsible for building bridges and establishing relations with schools, universities, and education institutions worldwide to broaden our network. Horizons International Outreach Officer must be able to maintain a consistently positive and upbeat demeanor and be able to articulate program benefits and mission to potential participants and partners. 
 
Roles and responsibilities: 
  • Develop international outreach action and operational plans.
  • Responsible for promoting the Academy through contacting targeted and potential international academic and educational institutions. 
  • Responsible for maintaining good relationship with the international institutions and individuals.  
  • Responsible for preparing, maintaining and updating a portfolio for each country’s university application procedures, requirements and education programs. 
  • Responsible for recruiting suitable mentors and interns from abroad with a diverse educational background, besides to continuously evaluating their performance and tracking their work progress. 
  • Mapping out scholarships around the world (both privately and publicly funded).
  • Responsible for managing the Alumni network and maintain good relations and connections.
  • Responsible for planning and implementation process of international events, exhibitions and conferences related to Horizons Academy.

Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Sociology, or related fields from (USA, Canada, UK, Europe and international)..
  • At least one-year relevant work experience, preferably in a Local/ International NGO.
  • Fluency in English both verbal and written.
Skills and Attributes: 
  • Excellent attention to details; strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent personal, communication and team coordination skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent English verbal and written skills.
  • Excellent Research Skills.
