Tetra Tech DPK is implementing the Justice Sector Assistance Project (JSAP) IV under a contract funded by the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL). JSAP IV is a five-year project (one base year and four option years) and serves as follow-on to three predecessor projects JSAP I, II, and III. JSAP IV has almost reached its third option year and still provides support across the West Bank to the Public Prosecution Offices (PPOs), Palestinian Civil Police (PCP), Security Force Justice Commission (SFJC), and the Preventive Security Organization (PSO).JSAP IV is seeking to hire qualified personnel to fill the following position:

Interns from various academic backgrounds who will be embedded in the project field office and offices of the project’s stakeholders.
1. Legal Interns:
Primary tasks of the Interns will include:
• Provide technical support in field of law and administrative assistance to the JSAP Field Support Team and justice sector counterparts as needed.
• Support Field Coordinators in conducting periodic and/or urgent statistical reports and studies.
• Provide assistance with entering cases to Mizan program.
• Assist in implementing the latest procedures of JSAP stakeholders.
• Carry out other related tasks and support as requested by supervisors in order to execute JSAP IV plan.
Candidates should meet the following minimum requirements:
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Law with at least very good academic standing.
• Candidate must hold official license to practice law.
• Candidates must be under the age of 26
• Solid computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel across the West Bank.
2. Translation (Arabic-English) /Administrative Interns :
Primary tasks of the Interns will include:
• Providing technical support in field of translation for counterpart staff as well as JSAP team as needed. Translation will include both oral and written translation.
• Assist JSAP IV staff in administrative duties as requested
• Carry out other tasks and support as requested by supervisors in order to execute the JSAP IV work plan.
Candidates should meet the following minimum requirements:
• Fluent in the English Language. Strong Arabic and English writing skills.
• Hold a bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Translation or English Literature.
• Candidates must be under the age of 26.
• Solid computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Due to the nature of this internship understanding of legal terminology is an asset.
3. Media and Public Relation Interns
Primary tasks of the Interns will include:
• Providing technical support in the media field for counterpart staff as well as the JSAP Field Support Team as needed.
• The Intern will play an integral role improving and maintaining the area of public relations of the counterpart. Through the cooperation with other staff in updating and maintaining social media websites (i.e. Facebook, twitter, etc.). As well as its other media functions.
• Retrieve relevant and useful information from various sources through coordination of JSAP’s news and activities, and use such information for updating media platforms, official JSAP documents, and in communication with media organizations as directed by JSAP management and the assigned counterpart.
Candidates should meet the following minimum requirements:
• Fluent in the English and Arabic Language.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Hold a bachelor's degree, preferably in Media or Public relation.
• Candidates must be under the age of 26.
• Solid computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Due to the nature of this internship understanding of legal terminology is an asset.
