Internship Opportunities with Tech Startups

Leaders Organization, with the support of Spark, is implementing a new internship program. Through this program, recent graduates can be hired as interns by some of the most promising Palestinian startups. You will not only be exposed to all aspects of a new business, but will quickly become an integral team member. Further, interns will also benefit from training courses and coaching from experienced professionals, who will support your professional development. A Certificate of Completion will be provided at the successful end of the three-month commitment.

Period
3 months paid internship opportunity – full time to start immediately, with possibility for further employment. Continuous feedback and evaluation throughout the period of work.

Requirements: Marketing Interns
-  BA degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Business, Journalism, New Media, Political Science and/or Communications majors
-  Advanced writing skills (English)
-  Detail-oriented, eager to learn, and able to manage tasks independently
-  Experienced with social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter is required; photoshop skills are a plus
-  Highly organized with the ability to solve problems independently 
-  Interested in technology, media and/or marketing
-  Experience with Word, PowerPoint and Excel
-  Excellent researcher

Requirements: IT interns
-  BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
-  Strong knowledge in PHP, JavaScript, Linux shell, SQL and AJAX
-  Good knowledge of front end technologies such as HTML, CSS and jQuery
-  Knowledge in PHP frameworks (CodeIgniter, Zend, etc.) is a plus
-  Must have excellent problem solving skills and love technical challenges
-  Must be self-motivated
-  Existing work experience in HTML5/CSS3 would be an advantage
-  Knowledge in mobile development (course project, graduation project)
-  Excellent communication skills
