CrossBoundary is a subcontractor for Chemonics International, in implementing the United States Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Building Regional Economic Bridges (BREB) Activity.
The United States Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Building Regional Economic Bridges (BREB) Activity, implemented in the West Bank and Gaza, is a five-year project and a key component of the Nita M. Lowey Middle East Partnership for Peace Act (MEPPA). Through technical assistance, grants, and facilitating access to finance, BREB: (1) facilitates cooperative exchange and knowledge sharing; (2) fosters new markets; (3) strengthens Palestinian enterprises to promote cross-border trade; and (4) promotes investment and access to finance. Across all components, transferring technology and know-how is a key program objective. BREB also facilitates a $100-million pipeline for financing by the U.S. government’s Development Finance Corporation (DFC).
CrossBoundary is seeking a qualified and dedicated Investment Advisor for a full-time position. The selected candidate will work closely with the Promoting Investment and Access to Finance Team Lead (Component 4), contributing to opportunity identification, pipeline development, investment readiness support, and fundraising efforts.
Key responsibilities for the Investment Advisor may include but are not limited to:
- Assist in identifying SMEs, startups, funds, and financial institutions that are looking to raise commercial financing and assist in conducting analysis of their fundraising potential.
- Assist in developing fundraising materials for companies/projects including but not limited to pitch decks, financial models, valuations, due diligence support, and market studies.
- Assist in identifying potential projects suitable for the DFC and in supporting companies/projects in applying to and meeting the technical requirements of the DFC.
- Assist with collecting market information for use in strategy development and market reports for USAID.
- Support reporting and provide updates on program activities, producing reports in English and sometimes in Arabic; support presentations, including to partner organizations and firms and to our client, USAID.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent) required
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in banking, management consulting, or private sector development interfacing directly with high stakes clients
- Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Previous USAID or international donor experience is preferred
- Excellent English language writing skills and previous academic or work experience using English required
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic required
