Islamic Relief/ Head of Programmes

Islamic Relief is a humanitarian NGO (www.irpal.ps) operating in Palestine in the fields of emergency relief and long-term development. Islamic Relief announces the following vacancies for its office in Ramallah City.

Duration: one year (full time) - Renewable
Overall Responsibilities: Under the guidance of the HoM, the HoP is to be responsible for the overall management and direction of IR programmes and projects in West Bank including the Emergency Relief Programme, the Child Welfare Programme and Development Projects.
Candidates must posses the following competencies:
- A post graduate degree in administrative management, social development or a related field
-Minimum of five years experience of working for an international NGO
-Proven experience of designing & implementing development and / or emergency relief programmes
- Extensive experience and / or knowledge of West Bank
- A proven record of effective management
- Experience in programme planning, monitoring, evaluation and appraisal (minimum five years)
- Budgeting skills

- Excellent computer skills
-Fluency in English (written and spoken)
