Islamic Relief/ Project Coordinator

Islamic Relief is a humanitarian NGO operating in Palestine in the fields of emergency relief and long-term development. Islamic Relief announces the following vacancy for its office in Gaza.

 

Ref: 2009/40/PC
Project: Women Empowerment project.
Duration: six months (full time)
Overall Responsibilities: Under the guidance of the Development projects Manager, the PC is to be responsible for the overall implementation of the project in Gaza, coordinate with local partners, and provide direction and management for implementing work plans, keep record of all project documents
Candidates must possess the following competencies:
- Bachelor degree in Management, or related field
- Minimum three years of related experience asprojects coordinator, preferably in job creationprojects in International NGOs.
- Good knowledge of project management theory,principles and practices

General Skills required for all applicants :
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Interpersonal skills and good communication skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Excellent repot writing skills
