IT Facilitation Interns
Internship Opportunity
Chemonics International Ltd., a leader in global development, seeks IT Facilitation Interns for its USAID-funded Enhanced Palestinian Justice Program (EPJP) to work for Family Courts in different West Bank Districts.
Position Objectives, Basic Functions/Critical Tasks:
-Work daily in the targeted court and carry out the following minimum activities:
- Follow-up all court workflows that are run by the ADALA system including Certification-related and Case-related workflows.
- Ensure near-hundred percent utilization of the system and report resistance to EPJP IT.
- Help staff in using the system when necessary.
- Take user notes and recommendations on system improvements and relay those notes to EPJP IT.
- Report to EPJP IT, on weekly basis, the number of cases and certifications that have been processed using the ADALA system and the utilization level of the system.
- Report any system-related problems to EPJP IT including equipment malfunctions, user resistance, software problems and so forth.
-Participate in training and mentoring of family court staff on the use of the ADALA system.
Required Qualifications Skills
- A university degree in IT-related field including IT, Software Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science or any other related field.
- Data entry skills including using web-based applications to enter workflow data will be an advantage.
- Can work under pressure and take on multiple tasks.
- Good at dealing with software users and can listen well to their needs and comments.
- Good report writing skills in Arabic.
