The Palestine Monetary Authority is an autonomous organization with an important role in the development of the Palestinian economy through its work in economic analysis, in supervision of commercial banking institutions, and in keeping the hanking system sound and safe. It invites qualified candidates to submit their resumes for the following position:

Title: IT Infrastructure and Operations division Chief - IT Department

The IT Infrastructure and Operations division chief will be responsible for the following functions:
1-Data Center Management: including device and server installation, configuration, upgrades and periodic maintenance, system administration, data backup and restore, security system management and monitoring for networks and IT assets, and ongoing monitoring of operational performance, availability and security of data center systems, managing the backup DR data center and the communication links between the two sites.
2-User access management: creation, changing and updating user access profiles to PMA networks and IT assets and resources, whether for PMA users or external Banking users of PMA services.
3-Networks: installation, monitoring, security, upgrades and maintenance of PMA LANs and WANs
4-Commercial Procurement: analyzing requirements, proposing technical solutions and technologies, preparing RIPs. analyzing responses, selecting technology/vendor, installation and support.
5-Second level users/departments support: fulfilling the needs and providing second level technical support for the users of IT assets and systems hosted in the data center or across its networks.
6-Management of Division Budget and Staff; managing, evaluating and developing staff and planning and managing division budget.

Academic Requirements
BA or MA in the field of computer science or computer engineering from a recognized university. Technical Certifications are preferred

Practical Experience
At least seven years practical related experience, part of which in an IT infrastructure management role. International experience is a distinct advantage

Language Skills
Operationally fluent in both Arabic and English, in both speaking and writing.
