IT Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled IT Manager to join our dynamic team at Aeliasoft. As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's IT operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of our technology infrastructure, and driving innovation to meet our customers business needs.

Responsibilites: 

• Conduct and manage IT audit engagements simultaneously in varied industries: industry, banking, insurances,and energy.
•  Prepare audit reports and discussed conclusions and recommendations with auditees and management.
• Review of IT General Controls – Logical/Physical Access, Change Management, and IT operation management.
• Review of business processes, IT applications, data conversions to identify business and IT risks for statutory
  audits.
• Lead ISO27k pre-certification audit for a major insurance company.
• Lead IT reviews Cobit based (IT security, change management, program development and computer operations).
• Qualitative Data Analysis and anomaly spotting.
• Piloted and controlled budgeted costs and timeframes of each engagement.
•  Provided guidance and coaching to team members.
•  Held job interviews to hire new joiners.
• Secondment – 6 months in Brazil / Rio de Janeiro: Lead the IT audit practice, support in the IT audit methodology
•  Qualitative Data Analysis and anomaly spotting about staff salaries.
•  Participation in the User Acceptance Tests phase on a major project aiming at the implementation of an application
• Travel to Saudi Arabia from Time to Time.

Experience : 

• Middle East Regional Leader for Technology audit and Risk Management, including UAE, Egypt, Oman & Jordania or Palestine.
•  Information Security governance based on international standards (ISO27x) & NESA – UAE IA Standards.
• Reviewing and Developing IT and Information Security policies and procedures until ISO27k pre-certification
  audit
• Swift IT Audit review (based on the CSP framework) including the infrastructures, applications, messaging
  interfaces, middleware, operations and accesses processes.
• Hire and manage a team of 8 professionals ensuring planning and budget in coordination with clients and partners
• Review of the IT governance and the IT control environment especially concerning accounting systems (manage
  changes, ensure systems security and manage problems and incidents).
•  Managed the end-to-end delivery of Risk Assessments, IT General Controls, Application Control Reviews and Data
  analysis.
• Performed migration review of accounting and business applications for various industries.
• Performed risk assessments and defined audit programs, workloads and scopes accordingly.
• Prepared and facilitated trainings on risk and audit and coordinated the HR processes for the team

Qualififcations 

• Excelent skills with  Microsoft Office package: Word, PowerPoint, Excel and PowerPoint.
  Excellent Experience with the following tools: Cobit, ITIL, ISO 27001/27002. SQL & ACL programming.
• Excellent Arabic and English skills Writing, Reading and Speaking.
• Degree in IT Audit and Consulting
• Deep knowledge with Information Systems.
