The Municipal Development and Lending Fund (MDLF) is a semi-governmental organization with
technical, financial, and management experience in the fields of Municipalities’ development, as
related to infrastructure projects, institutional development, employment generation, as well as data
analysis and reporting.
The MDLF is seeking a creative, highly skilled IT/MIS officer to work under the supervision of the
Strategic Planning Department of the MDLF.
The main duties of the PR officer will include:
-Install, configure, and manage all network hardware and software and do needed upgrades and repairs.
-Install, configure, and manage all servers, PCs, printers, scanners and any other IT or officeequipment.
-Maintain network and computer system security and ensure that all systems are operating correctly
and securely.
-Perform daily, weekly and monthly back up.
-Determine the organization needs in relation to the network and computer systems before it is set up, and design system infrastructure
-Establishes systems specifications and security requirements.
-Train users on the proper use of hardware and software.
-Troubleshoot systems hardware, software, networks and operating systems.
-Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
-Proven knowledge in desktop and Web Solution development using .NET technologies.
-Develop and update any needed software for the organization.
-Prepare IT procurement documents (RFPs, RFQs)
-Any other duties as required.
Applicants should have the following credentials and experience:
-University degree in IT, MIS, Computer Science or any related field.
-At least 7 years of experience in IT Management and implementation.
-3 years experience in application development using .net technology and SQL server.
-Solid experience in administering and managing Microsoft Active Directory, User Accounts,
Policies, DNS, DHCP, Regular Backup, etc.. , using Windows Server 2003, 2008, and Windows Server 2008 R2.
-Ability to use Hyper-V and VMware.
-Solid experience in administering and implementing SharePoint Server 2010 solutions.
-Solid experience in administering and managing Microsoft Exchange Server 2006 and above.
-Solid experience in administering and managing Microsoft ISA Server.
-Solid experience in web development technologies and web content management.
-Working experience in installing, managing and troubleshooting Microsoft SQL Server.
-Working experience in managing managed Anti-Virus solutions and Anti-Spam Filter.
-Microsoft or any other IT certification in MS system administration is a must.
-Teamwork oriented, self-motivated, sensitive to others, detail oriented, strong ability to workunder
pressure, flexible and wiling to learn.
