IT Project Manager

An Information Technology consultant is urgently needed to assist Al-Makassed Hospital in East Jerusalem in implementing a new automated Hospital Management Information System
(HMIS) that will help various entitled users within the hospital to have an easy access to - and use of - relevant data.

Scope of Work:
-Lead the process of the successful installation of the HMIS with all its requirements including ensuring “data pipeline” is in place and is properly functioning.
-Act as the focal point and liaise person between information system resources and the user staff.
-Ensure full implementation and smooth running of the HMIS with demonstrated ability to troubleshoot most of the snags and problems that may arise,and to transfer old data into the new HMIS.

Qualifications and Expertise Required:
-University Degree or an equivalent in Information Technology or Computer Sciencefrom a recognized institution is required. Advanced courses in the relevant field are desired.
-Minimum, 7 years of work experience that is relevant for

fulfilling the above outlined scope of work; and demonstrated familiarity with managing contemporary databases, open source technologies, modern application development
and other necessary skills for the job.
