IT Security and Cloud Engineer
Job Description
Business Alliance HR is recruiting an IT Security and Cloud Engineer for a leading company in Ramallah, Palestine.
The ideal candidate will support the implementation and optimization of security, device management, data protection, and cloud application security solutions.
Detailed Duties and Responsibilities:
- Microsoft XDR (Extended Detection and Response):
- Assist in the deployment and daily operation of Microsoft XDR solutions.
- Monitor security alerts and support the investigation and response to potential threats.
- Develop basic threat-hunting queries.
- Collaborate with the security team to strengthen overall threat detection processes.
- Microsoft Intune:
- Support the administration of Microsoft Intune for mobile devices and endpoints.
- Assist in configuring device compliance policies, app deployment, and settings.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Intune-related issues.
- Keep up to date with Intune updates and features.
- Entra Integration:
- Support in the design and implementation of Entra integration solutions to enhance identity and access management (IAM) across hybrid and cloud environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP):
- Assist in setting up and managing DLP policies to protect sensitive information.
- Monitor DLP alerts and help investigate incidents following defined procedures.
- Work with the compliance team to support data protection initiatives.
- Microsoft Cloud App Security (MCAS):

Help implement and manage MCAS policies to monitor cloud application use.

Assist in identifying shadow IT risks and basic security gaps.

Work with the security team to enforce cloud security best practices.

Job Requirements
Special Requirements & Skills:
- Strong background in cybersecurity, cloud services, and IT infrastructure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 security tools is highly preferred.
Years of experience:
Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in a relevant role.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Any additional Microsoft certifications are highly preferred.
