Java [Kafka] Developer Position - Palestinian ICT Graduates (Gaza, West Bank and Jerusalem)

GGateway is an ICT Outsourcing Social Enterprise in the Gaza Strip with a hybrid innovative business model that has a well-integrated Impact (Social) and Business arms that work as the first end-to-end solution from education to employment. GGateway, with Support from the IPSD, a Ministry of National Economy project, funded by the World Bank, works to contribute to the Gaza Strip’s economic growth by expanding business opportunities and professional capacity for youth and women, while its business and social impact objectives are two halves of a single solution.

GGateway is looking for talented and skilled applicants located in Palestine to work remotely for Java [Kafka] Developer Position. We are looking for motivated and experienced Mid and Mid+ candidates who match the required qualifications and skills mentioned in the following job description:

Level: Mid - Senior

Job Requirements

Requirements:

Expertise in Kafka brokers, zookeepers, Kafka core concepts Kafka Control center.
Create topics, setup redundancy cluster, deploy monitoring tools, alerts and has good knowledge of best practices.
Expertise and hands on experience on custom connectors using the Kafka core concepts and API.
Expertise and hands on experience working on AvroConverters, JsonConverters, and StringConverters. knowledge on Kafka Rest proxy
Configure Kafka connectors and Kafka topic
Develops effective and event based kafka applications according to design specifications.
Applies best practices for tuning for overall system performance.
Supports software development and test teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Experience of working in Linux environment
Proven experience in integrating enterprise software
Experience with Event-Driven Architecture in Kafka
Knowledge of any Cloud Platform
