Jerusalem Office Receptionist
Job Description
The Administrative Assistant will work full-time at AMIDEAST’s East Jerusalem office and support all aspects of AMIDEAST’s ongoing English language and professional skills training programs for the general public and private sponsors, as well as for a new American cultural space hosted at AMIDEAST./Jerusalem. S/he will answer and transfer incoming telephone
calls, receive and guide visitors, assist in office filing systems, prepare weekly courier, provide support to office staff, assume cashier duties, and other administrative duties.
Qualified applicants will meet the following criteria:
-Minimum 2 years’ college or university -or- 5 years relevant work experience -or- combination
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team and be self-directed and motivated
-Fluent spoken and written Arabic and English language skills
-Positive attitude, and ability to work well with others; strong customer service orientation
