Groopie is a unique mobile app company that is experiencing global growth. Its HQ is based in California, USA with a development office in Ramallah, Palestine.


Groopie is a place where groups of friends can create, publish and share shows together. Everyone from the group can post episodes to their show page, adding different perspectives and social experiences to the story. Groopie is also the easiest way to record and share your daily vlog right from your phone.

The Groopie app is currently available for iOS and Android. We are looking for a Junior QA Engineer who loves testing reliable, intuitive apps, including everything from pixel perfect UI implementations to UX optimization. If you are confident that you can jump straight in and perfect the Groopie app, we are looking for you.

Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
Strong understanding of software quality testing and product release lifecycle.
Extensive knowledge and discipline in software engineering process and the development lifecycle.
Strong knowledge of highly Integrated environments.
Expertise in system level and embedded system validation.
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.


Desired Skills:
Review Requirements, functional specifications and come up with comprehensive test strategy in a highly agile development environment.
Responsible for planning and executing functional and system level tests for iOS, Android and Web platforms.
Writing and updating test plans and test cases.
Liaising with developers and managers on technical issues, impact and risk areas.
Establishing and maintaining thorough and accurate documentation of all work including status updates.
Serving in a test lead capacity on projects of moderate complexity, where coordination with other engineers is required.
Actively supporting and enforcing the company's software engineering processes and standards within the group.
Proficient in English.
