Junior Accountant

Universe Telecom LLC, is a leading private telco-technologies provider and aggregator, located in Ramallah. We are looking for a junior accountant according to the following requirements:

Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyze and record all financial transactions (payments, journals and receipts) on Bissan systems and verifies supporting documents according to company’s polices / procedures and local rules and regulations.
• Prepare payments (checks and transfers).
• Follow up on petty cash and insure it is managed by the custodian according to company’s polices and procedures.
• Archive all accounting vouchers according to company’s policies.
• Assisting with the maintenance of accounting records and files, ensuring program administrative financial documents have appropriate supporting material; updating records as necessary; and keeping all financial and sensitive information confidential.
• Prepare daily/monthly/ yearly reporting package according to the direct supervisor request.
• Any other duties as assigned by Financial Director.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Fresh graduate with minimum very good GPA
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially with Excel.
• Experience in using "Bisan” accounting system is a major plus.
• Strong interpersonal communication, presentation, teamwork, and analytical skills.
• Strong ability to organize work, meet deadlines, maintain composure under pressure, prioritize work, coordinate multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to improve skills and knowledge.

Others:

• Excellent English language (speaking, writing, reading).
• From Ramallah city or able to be reallocated to Ramallah.
