Position Summary:
Implement the finance and accounting of the Family Like Care (FLC) Programme unit in accordance with the accounting policy of the organization.
Key performance areas and main responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly reports about the incomes and expenses separately for FLC Rafah Evacuated Group.
-Analyze it with the Village Director and reveal the reasons of the deviation from the budget.
-Present the required monthly financial reports information and explanations to the National Office.
-Check and sign the documents of inflows and outflows of the cashbox and bank, also check the existence of the ground for them and make sure that they correspond with the cash book and bank account registrations.
-Regularly check the cash balance in the cashbox and the money given to the coworkers in a random way and make sure that it corresponds with the registrations
-Supervise the reliability and compliance of the costs for children’s care and food with the articles of the budget.
-Regularly check the correspondence of the purchased goods with the registrations made in the family budget register.
-Supervise the receipt of the material assets, their allocation and correspondence to the payment order.
-Organize the inventory of assets at least once a year.
-Support the FLC Coordinator in the process of annual budget preparation and presentation to National Office.
-Administer Household allowances during the month, as well as obligations of the branch in case of existence of the needed documents.
-Be a tender/competition committee member.
-Any other tasks assigned by the national office.
Child Safeguarding (CS)
- Responsible within own area of work to raise awareness of the SOS Child Protection Policy principles and to prevent and protect children from all forms of abuse, abandonment, exploitation, violence and discrimination
- Responsible to report any CS suspicion, concern, allegation or incident immediately, following Child Safeguarding reporting procedures. CS reports should be made to the IOR CS focal person and/or to the respective line manager.

Must Criteria
- BA Degree in the field of Finance and/or Accounting.
- Working experience of 3 Years in Financial Management.
- Solid experience in working for Non profit sector.
- Experience in working as an accountant.
- good knowledge of English.
Competencies - knowledge, skills
- Intermediate Skills in using MS Office 2019
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication skills.
Preferred Aditional Criteria:
- Knowledge of experience in using Microsoft Dynamics, power apps & financial modelling.
- Knowledge in project management, controlling and monitoring.
