The Ramallah-based project "Alternative Approaches for Financial Inclusion of Small and Medium-Sized
Enterprises (AFIN) " aims to facilitate high quality innovative solutions in the financial market of the Palestinian
Territories and serve disadvantaged people and businesses. These "fintech’s" offer great potential for the
financial inclusion of broad segments of the population.
In order to support the current phase of the AFIN project, we are looking for a full-time (100%)

“Junior Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist”

Tasks and Functions include but are not limited to:


▪ Public relations & communication work
▪ Monitoring of the activities and impact of the project
▪ Support in the planning, logistics, and implementation of events & workshops
▪ Preparation of contracts for external experts
▪ Administrative, conceptual, and technical support for the implementation of activities for all components of
the project
▪ Planning and implementation of training measures as part of the "Financial Awareness" component
▪ Knowledge Management
▪ Participation in GIZ internal working groups

Job Requirements

Required qualifications, competencies, and experience.
▪ Completed university studies in economics/finance or comparable courses of study or relevant practical
experience in the financial or digital economy.
▪ Initial experience in international cooperation in the field of economic or private sector development is an
advantage.
▪ Experience and knowledge in the field of communication and public relations is an advantage.
▪ Experience in the organization and implementation of training measures and events (face-to-face and digital
events) is an advantage.
▪ Good conceptual skills as well as strong communication skills and creativity
▪ Fluent in English & Arabic (written & spoken)
