Chemonics International, a leader in global development, seeks a Legal Education Component Leader for an anticipated USAID-funded project that will work with local counterparts to create an effective justice sector that is accountable to the public and responsive to the needs of citizens. Activities will include working with local law faculties to enhance the education and training of legal professionals and strengthen the management system for legal education.

The Legal Education Component Leader will be responsible for overall technical, managerial, and strategic direction of all project legal training and education activities. He/she will develop and implement (and prepare English language reports and presentations on) all activities in this area, including legal clinics and moot courts at law faculties, curriculum reforms, and training of trainers in interactive, participatory techniques. The position will report to the Chief of Party. The position is based in Ramallah, West Bank.

Qualifications:
-Law degree required, legal practice experience desirable
-Management experience required
-Fluency in English and Arabic, in both spoken and written communication
-Minimum five years experience working on an international donor-funded project in the area of legal and/or judicial reform
-Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
